How to Check Sneaker Fit Before Ordering Online
Online shoe shopping is easier when you measure first and compare second. Shoe labels can vary by product, so a number that worked in one pair is not proof that the same number will fit another pair.
Measure both feet on a sheet of paper while standing. Keep your heel lightly against a wall, mark the longest toe, and measure from the wall edge to that mark. Do this late in the day, when feet are usually at their largest, and wear the type of socks you expect to use. Keep the longer measurement as your reference.
Use the size information shown for the exact product you are considering. If the page includes a size guide, read its notes as well as the table. Do not create your own US-to-EU or EU-to-UK conversion when the product page does not provide one. When a value is unclear, contact the store before placing the order.
Think about width and intended use as well as length. A snug performance fit may feel different from a relaxed everyday fit, and a thick sock can change the amount of room you need. If you are between sizes and the product page does not explain how it runs, ask for product-specific advice instead of relying on a generic chart.
When your order arrives, try the shoes indoors on a clean surface. Check toe room, heel movement, and pressure across the widest part of the foot before wearing them outside. Keep the packaging and tags until you are sure the fit is right, because the return policy may require the item to remain unworn and in its original condition.
